Edward Kaloust is Founder and CEO. He founded Medi-Weightloss Clinics in 2004, in Tampa, Florida. He is responsible for overseeing all operations, sales, marketing, finance and business strategy. After retiring from a 40-year career in the financial services industry, Mr. Kaloust decided to dedicate the remainder of his working career to his vision of providing a safe, effective and complete weight-loss program.
James Edlund is President of Medi-Weightloss Clinics. Mr. Edlund manages the day-to-day operations and provides budget planning, product development, strategic planning and business development. He is the former CEO of OBGYN.net, the largest OB/GYN practitioner and patient website in the United States.
Dr. Edward Zbella is Medi-Weightloss Clinics' Medical Director based in Tampa, Florida. He supervises all clinical aspects of the program and protocol, including physician and staff training. Dr. Zbella received his medical degree from the University of Illinois and is a board certified OB/GYN with subspecialty certification in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Zbella has published numerous scientific articles in major medical journals and has contributed to several medical text books. His honors include inclusion in America's Best Doctors, Guide to America's Top OB/GYNs, and Consumer's Guide to Top Doctors.
Evelyn is an ARNP who received her degrees from University of South Florida and Emory University. Specializing in gynecology for over 14 years, Evelyn has always had a practice focused on wellness. Previously she was involved in the pharmaceutical sales industry in sales and field training for four years. She is responsible for our neutraceutical implementation and assists with training of new clinics and staff and assists individual clinics with patient care issues.
Leslie has over eight years of health care experience. She's involved in our ongoing research and development of the nutritional aspects of our program. She also assists with the management and training of clinics and their start up procedures. Leslie holds a B.S. in Food and Nutrition from Florida State University and is President Elect of the Tampa Dietetic Association for 2008.
