Description

Stationary biking provides a low-impact cardiovascular workout and is suitable for those beginning an exercise program.

Instruction

There are two main types of stationary bikes: upright and recumbent. Upright bikes resemble a traditional outdoor bicycle, whereas recumbent bikes allow the rider to recline into a back support while riding. Recumbent bikes have a comfy bucket seat that may be great for individuals new to exercise.
