Matt Neulander, M.D.
Dr. Matt Neulander attended medical school in New Jersey and graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. He moved to Charlotte in 2001 and is currently dual board certified in Medical Bariatrics and Emergency Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, and the American Medical Association. He is an adjunct Professor of Medicine through the University of North Carolina, an instructor with the Cabarrus County School of Health Sciences, and has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Neulander understands the troubles of obesity, as he was overweight himself for much of his life. He overcame his weight through a sensible plan of diet and exercise and works with his patients to help them overcome the same issues.
