James Mirabile, MD is a board certified Gynecologist. He is well respected among patients and colleagues in the Kansas City metro area for his work in obstetrics, gynecology, bio-identical hormone therapy, medical cosmetics and medical weight loss. |
Dr. Mirabile began providing obstetrics and gynecology in 1993. He built a reputation of providing a professional, friendly atmosphere. After delivering over 7,500 babies, Dr. Mirabile retired from Obstetrics and concentrates his areas of expertise in Gynecology including bio-identical hormone therapy to treat peri-menopausal and menopausal women. In 2013, Dr. Mirabile and his team began offering bio-identical hormone replacement therapy to men who are suffering from low testosterone and andropause (the male equivalent to menopause).
Nationally, Dr. Mirabile is known as a pioneer in cosmetic laser treatments. Dr. Mirabile was on the forefront of laser technology in the 1990’s and has trained thousands of doctors around the country on laser treatments and incorporating non-surgical cosmetics into their practice. Since opening MedCosmetic in 1999, Dr. Mirabile and his team have offered patients effective, non-surgical cosmetic treatments for many common skin conditions. In 2010, Dr. Mirabile added Medi-Weightloss® to his practice helping men and women to achieve their goals of weight loss and overall health. This physician supervised weight loss program has phenomenal results.
Dr. Mirabile is listed as one of the “Top Physicians” in the United States by the Center for the Study of Services in Washington, DC. He has also been awarded the “Physician of the Decade Award”, voted upon by his peers, and listed in Squire Magazine. Dr. Mirabile’s peers have also consistently voted him “Top OB/GYN” since 1994. He is listed in the Kansas City Magazine 8 years in a row as one of the “SUPER DOCTOR’S” also voted upon by local peers.
Dr. Mirabile completed his undergraduate work at Creighton University and earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He trained in Chicago, Illinois at Mt. Sinai Hospital and St. Joseph Medical Center, an affiliate of Northwestern University. When Dr. Mirabile is not seeing patients, he enjoys traveling with his wife Vicki and visiting their daughters Jovana and Nikki, both of New York.
Marsha Vogrin, RD
Marsha received her BS in Nutritional Sciences from Kansas State University. Prior to joining Medi-Weightloss® in 2010, Marsha worked for 15 years as a registered dietitian in various capacities including University Food Service Management, Pharmaceutical Sales Rep, and Weightloss Counselor. Marsha is married with 2 small children. She enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants and is excited to be training for her first full marathon. She and her family enjoy spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks during the summer.
Cori Colombe, BS, CHC
Cori graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and a Masters in Business Administration from Baker University. However, it was her passion for holistic health that led her to study Integrative Nutrition through Columbia University in New York City to became a Certified Health Counselor. Cori has been in the Health & Wellness industry since 2006. She loves to travel with her husband and their 3 boys.
Charidy Matney, MA
Charidy studied at Sacremento City College in Sacremento, CA. She spent 7 years as a firefighter and EMT. Charidy has been with Medi-Weightloss® since its opening in 2010. Previously she worked for Mid-America Neuroscience where she conducted research on the impacts of physical fitness on MS patients. Charidy and her husband enjoy sports, fitness, hiking and biking. She is a competitive bodybuilder and enjoys interior decorating.
Kellie graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies. She has a passion for helping others achieve their health goals. She has been in the healthy and wellness industry since 2010 and joined Dr. Mirabile at Medi-Weightloss® in 2011. Kellie enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants and attending sporting events and concerts.
