Medi-Weightloss Clinics® of Mobile, Alabama was opened by Dr. Jardine to provide an additional level of service to existing and new patients.
Dr. Quint Jardine is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist practicing on the campus of Springhill Memorial Hospital for 23 years. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Jardine is currently Chairman of the Board of the Governing Body of Springhill Memorial Hospital. Dr. Jardine is also a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
Dr. Jardine received a chemistry degree from Vanderbilt University in 1977 and graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham in 1981. He completed an internship and residency in OB/GYN at Vanderbilt in 1985 and returned to his hometown of Mobile, Alabama to practice.
Dr. Jardine has been married to Kim Hodgson Jardine for five years. Kim assists in the management of Medi-Weightloss Clinics® of Mobile, Alabama.
William J. Urquhart, M.D. has been in a private practice in Mobile, Alabama since 1982. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine and received specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Dr. Urquhart received his Board Certification in 1984 and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of multiple medical societies, including the American Association of Bariatric Physicians, the American Association of Gynecology and Laparoscopy, and the Southern Medical Association.
He received the Physician's Recognition Award from the American Medical Association in 1993, 1996, and again in 1999. Dr. Urquhart is a former Chief of Staff at Springhill Medical Center and was elected by his fellow physicians into Best Doctors in America in 2005-2006 and again in 2007-2008.
He is married to Marietta Murray Urquhart and has two married daughters.
