Dr. Thomas Kehl
Dr. Kehl was born in Ashland, Ohio, and grew up in Warner Robins, Georgia. He graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Psychology. He taught and coached in Warner Robins for a brief period prior to attending the Medical College of Georgia, where he earned a Master's Degree in Anatomy and his medical degree He completed his residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and currently concentrates on gynecology and women's health.
Dr. Stephen Durso
Dr. Durso was born in New York and grew up in Dallas, Texas. He received a BA in Anthropology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed a four-year OB/GYN residency program at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and joined the practice in 2001. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. His interests include spending time with his family and three young children, reading, gardening, and traveling. His practice interests include comprehensive gynecology, preventive healthcare, and high risk obstetrics.
John Barnes, MD
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where his father practiced obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. John J. Barnes received a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, and completed a surgical internship in Birmingham, AL, and his obstetrics and gynecology training at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. He moved to Macon, GA, in 1995, joining Drs. Schuessler, Pope, and Kehl in a private obstetrics practice. He is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
Dr. Barnes and his wife Kimberly have nine children. He is a member of Ingleside Baptist Church.
