Woods Rogers, MD
Dr. Woods Rogers III graduated from West Point Military Academy with a B.S. He then graduated from the University of Florida, College of Medicine as a Medical Doctor. After duties in the U. S. Air Force Medical Corp., he practiced emergency medicine for many years. He then went into General Practice. Dr. Rogers is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians and he brings a wide range of medical and listening skills to his patients.
Rolando Sanchez, M.D.
A graduate from the University of South Florida with his B.A. in Zoology, Dr. Sanchez later got his M.D. from the NYU School of Medicine in New York. He went on to accept positions as an Associate Professor of Surgery and Emergency Medicine at Einstein College of Medicine while serving as the Director of Hyperbaric Medicine in New York City. He returned to Florida in 1987, opened a private practice in Tampa, and has since opened a Medi-Weightloss Clinics® location. Dr. Sanchez is a current member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
Kelli Maw, M.D.
Dr. Kelli Maw, MD, MPH, has more than 20 years’ experience in family medicine, public health, and epidemiology. She holds a master’s degree in public health, and is a graduate of Columbia University in New York and the Institute of Medicine in Yangon, Myanmar.
Dr. Maw is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. Following 9 years as the medical executive director for the Hernando County Health Department, she sees her position with Medi-Weightloss Clinics® as a natural progression of her preventative care advocacy, especially as it relates to the prevention of chronic diseases related to obesity. “There are no magic bullets in medicine to prevent chronic diseases, but maintaining a healthy weight and lifestyle is as close as it gets,” Dr. Maw says. “One of the greatest things about Medi-Weightloss Clinics® is that we coach people to embrace a healthy lifestyle that puts them back in charge of their health and their weight.”
