Dr. Bloy has been practicing medicine in southwest Florida since 1985. He is a board certified fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also an active member of the AMA, FMA, Society of Gynecological Surgeons, and the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. His special focuses include urogynecologic surgery, osteoporosis, and bariatric medicine. Dr. R. Bloy is a clinical professor at the Kansas City School of Medicine, Nova Southeastern Medical School, and Barry University, and teaches specialized surgical procedures for Boston Scientific Corporation.
Elias P Farri DO received a BS in Pharmacy at Temple University in 1957 and then his Medical Degree (D.O) from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1961. He then interned at Bucks County Hospital in Bristol, PA (1961-1962). Dr. Farri then went on to take and pass the New York Medical Boards. He then began to practice Family Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and Northeastern Hospital (Temple University) in 1962. He relocated to Ft. Myers, Florida in 1971 and has practiced Family Medicine here since he retired in November 2008. Dr. Farri holds memberships in Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, American Bariatric Associations and American Academy of Family Physicians. He has been a Fellow in American Family Physicians for 20+ years. He has held medical licenses in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. He has also had privileges in all Lee County Hospitals for over 30 years.
Amber Atkinson is the clinical director for the Medi-Weightloss Clinics® locations in Southwest Florida. She is a registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree of science in nursing. She began working with Medi-Weightloss Clinics® when the first SW Florida clinic opened in Fort Myers in November of 2006. As director, her role is to oversee all clinical and operational responsibilities for the clinics and to offer assistance in training and development. “I am very passionate about long-term wellness and disease prevention and I have had the privilege of seeing so many lives changed by this program. My goal is to assure that we maintain the highest standards of medical care and continuity within our clinics in order to improve our patient’s long-term success.”
Sally Tileston is the Clinic Director of the Fort Myers office. She is a registered nurse with 20 years critical care experience who has successfully completed the Medi-Weightloss Clinics® program. Her role is to coordinate and oversee all operational responsibilities, including training of staff. “I am enthusiastic and dedicated to empowering others to accomplish their goals of weight loss, improvement of current health and disease prevention.”
Bonnie Anderson is the director of Communications and Marketing for all SW Florida clinics. She started out with Fort Myers Medi-Weightloss Clinics® location when it opened in November 2006. She brings 30 years experience in the medical field. As Communications Director, Bonnie handles all prospect contacts, explaining the program to them and scheduling their new patient appointment. Bonnie’s goal for communication is to explain the program so that the perspective patient has enough knowledge to make an informed decision on beginning their journey to a better life of wellness. Additionally, she is involved in marketing to large groups of employees and interacting with their health programs for Corporate Wellness and Preferred Provider Programs.
