Dr. Arthur J. Schatz graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1962, Jefferson Medical College in 1966, and completed his internship and OB/GYN residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in 1970. Following his Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Army in 1972, he relocated to South Florida where he has been in private practice of gynecology. He is past department chairman at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center and Jackson North Medical Center. He has been practicing Bariatric medicine for the past fifteen years. He is Board Certified and is a member of multiple professional societies.
